Love- Forever Changes - (US) EKS74013 - 1967 (First Press)
Without doubt this is one of 'the' cult classics from the 60's and an album of enduring beauty. These superb, often dark tunes are interwoven and punctuated with layers of lush stings, mexican horns, magnificent guitar work and the superb writing and voice of Love's Key songwriter and driving force - the late great Arthur Lee. This is an album that you simply have to have in your collection - A stone cold classic!
Vinyl retains all its shine, there are some scattered marks but all are harmless and only occasionally sound - plays loud and clear, no distortion or hiss etc , confidently grades at vg++
Cover is very solid, no splits and very little edge wear. Some light to moderate ring wear evident but nothing that detracts - (unlaminated white albums are unforgiving to any kind of mark)- A very presentable cover which I would grade as excellent minus due to the aformentioned.
