Description
Inherited from a relative, along with other stuff I am currently selling. Apparently this is the very first UK butterfly release of this Love album. It was originally released in the U.S. in 1967 and the UK in 1968. This one is the very first UK Butterfly label release from 1971. It has red/blue error border lines on the cover, colour 'band' picture of the back of the cover (replaced by the Arthur Lee Picture in the mid 1970s), EKS 74103 A1/B1 matrix's on the record, and the '74013' matrix number is printed on the back of the cover in the top left (removed on later copies). According to various sites I have read - this version was exclusive to the first butterfly labels - and was changed after only a few months.
Grading:- Cover is really nice. Brushing to edges and spine and mild toning is all there is to report. Old shop sticker on the front. I will grade Very Good+. The record is bright and shiny with only 2 or 3 really light lines under a bright light. Record plays really well. I suspect I am being harsh, but to be safe I will say Very Good+ towards Excellent. Labels look super nice and this record looks seldom played.
