Description
Original UK Elektra orange & silver stereo label 1st press LP. The fourth Love LP and the second version of Love after Arthur Lee sacked all the rest of the original band in 1968. Three LPs worth of material were recorded in a makeshift studio in a Los Angeles warehouse, with Elektra Records given the rights to first choice of tracks to fulfill Lee's contractual obligation, and the remainder released as 'Out Here' later in 1969 by Harvest, with the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices and A-6 A-2 stampers!The MacNeill Press matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/corner wear and some very light storage rubbing on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with a few faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few faint spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & clear listen. The matrix nos. are; EKS-74049, A-1 stamper A-6 and B-1 stamper A-2. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1969 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 kg.
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
