This, you don't want to miss. Genuine original UK 1st press of The Beatles' legendary debut single Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You on the red Parlophone label from 1962 – don't confuse it with more recent reissues (different label font used, picture sleeve etc).
This is the real McCoy. It has the ZT tax code in the runout, with the number 1 beneath it, the 7XCE 17144-1N matrices, and an original Parlophone sleeve.
The labels are really Excellent – no writing, tears or much wear of any kind, certainly the best I've seen, and will look superb framed. The four-pronged push out centre is intact and in great order with no noticeable spindle wear.
Yes, the vinyl has hairlines, scuffs and marks but none of these are feelable and the audio is fine with no sticks, skips or major disturbance, just the kind of surface noise you'd expect from a single of this vintage, which is soon overshadowed by the music.
I'll also include a 'candy stripe' Parlophone sleeve, in case you prefer that alternative, which looks to me like a more modern reprint.
Great legendary collectable, and starting at a tempting price, too!
