American blue thumb label BTS - 9000
first pressing original.
The VINYL is in excellent condition.
American vinyl sometimes has a dull un lacquered finish but this one looks excellent and sounds good too.
The gatefold COVER is in very good plus condition , has an import cut on the top right hand corner and some wear to the top but the actual cover art is bright and shiny and clean.
It's the one in the photographs and no attempt was made to make it look better than it is.
THE GRADING SYSTEM
I usually go with record collectors grading system with the additional near mint grade between mint and excellent as there can sometimes be variables.
Mint: the record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration of sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Near mint : the record has been played and kept with other records but looks like new.
The cover and contents are complete and without any wear at all.
The audio is as close to perfect as you could possibly get from a played record.
Excellent: the record shows some signs of having being played, but there is very little lessoning in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and creasing.
Very good: the record has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
