Love/1966/rare/self titled debut album/Elektra record EKS-74001/psych/vinyl LP

  Up For Bid:

This item is shown in the last 5 pictures above

very rare debut album by LOVE from 1966 on Elektra records

matrix numbers are:

side one : EKS 74001A all hand written followed by a faint -3

side two :  EKS 74001B all hand written followed by a faint -3

Vinyl :  VG+/EX(at first I graded it  NM- and then moved to a brighter lightbulb and noticed enough Minor marks to grade it as VG+ just to not disapoint the aggressively picky) maybe 3 almost invisable marks on one side and less than to on the other. 5 of which are in a faint patch together. Sounds perfect and is super glossy. I believe it to be the best vinyl copy of this album posted on eBay in the last 3 months at least.

Cover :   VG+ (spine and top seam are NM, bottom seam is VG+, with some damage to the bottom left corner)

insert : VG++ has a soft crease to the bottom right.(original stock Elektra liner sleeve) the record has been placed in a new white paper sleeve for shipment but the original sleeve is included)

Grab a few more records from my store and you could easily save $10-$50 on shipping alone. I have had people save over a hundred dollars on  S&H charges.

                                   $3.84 S&H for 1 record or /

                           $5 S&H on Unlimited 12" records*

you'll get more records for the same price.

Please request an invoice when you have completed shopping and I will adjust the shipping cost manually. Do not pay the full S&H, wait, and let me give you the lower rait. I hate S7H charges and I am sure that some of you may too, This discount is for You.

The record is in a new paper sleeve  behind the cover in a protective poly bag and will stay this way as long as the item sells for at least $9.99.

My camera always makes ring wear look slightly worse than it does in person.

The record up for auction is listed in the title and shown in the pictures.   Records come from a large Rock and Blues Collection in Chicago

Grading:

I use the Goldmine Grading System

"P"  "G"  "VG"  "NM"  "MINT" with "+" and "-" to add precision.

"MINT" only exists if record is sealed and still perfect.

"NM" I will very rarely use this grading, most of the NM records I naturally round down to NM- to not disapoint)

"VG+" is a  really nice record with only a few issues.

All records should be cleaned prior to play, even the brand new just openened records as it will always sound better and your needles and records will last longer.

Many of the records that I have listed right now have been in climate-controlled storage for many years.

This makes for generally great cover condition, But dust always seams to get into the sleeves.

As Always, You should wash every record you buy (even the brand new just opened records) before you play them,  it will sound richer and your needle will last longer.

Thank you for looking.

If you need any help, just let me know, i will try to be really quick to respond.
