Sealed (S) Shrinkwrap still sealed-cover may have sawcuts, drill holes etc.
Near Mint (NM) Opened but never played-cover has VERY minor wear
Excellent (EX) Minor wear on LP or cover-a CLEAN COPY
Very Good + (VG+) Seam wear or minor splits, rubbing on cover. LP May have minor background noise, occasional tic. Still a nice listening copy except for the audiophile.
Very Good (VG) Cover will have noticeable wear with possible seam splits. Lp will have some noise, tics but won't overpower the songs. An AVERAGE well used copy.
Very Good- (VG-) Lp or Cover will be quite worn, lots of background noise etc. I usually won't list this type of record unless it is quite rare to find.
