Description
You are bidding on an a strictly limited edition vinyl copy of the third installment of the Songs For Slim series, where artists pay tribute to Replacements guitarist Slim Dunlap by covering his songs. The third 45 in the series leads off with Lucinda Williams' soulful take on Slim’s signature rocker “Partners in Crime," produced by Joe Henry. The flip-side is Tommy Keene and R. Walt Vincent’s interpretation of “Nowheres Near,” Slim’s brutally honest, wistful ode to the quest for the elusive brass ring. This release will be limited to 100 numbered copies, signed by Lucinda and Tommy and, like all SFS releases, feature original Chris Mars artwork. Each release includes a digital download card for both songs and all proceeds go to to The Slim Dunlap Recovery Fund (Details below). This auction will run March 15-22.
