Description

A series of Lucky Strike Hit Parade 78s and The Music Makers 1983 broadcasts with original program "rundowns" and minute-by-minute itineraries. The records were used for the shows and include announcements and commercials of the time.  See the actual program pages in the last three images.
The Lucky Strike Presents 78 rpm recordings include:   Kay Kyser
• Three Little Fishies • Jericho and Something Tells Me (+ one "Dup" with a blank reverse side)
• The Answer is Love • I'm Sorry for Myself
• Musical Auctioneer (with "Speed" Riggs, the "voice of Lucky Strike" + one "Dup", both with blank reverse side) • March of Time
• College of Musical Knowledge (with Riggs and Grauer) Ginny Simms
• Don't Worry About Me • Faithful Forever • Over the Rainbow
The Merry Macs • A-Tisket, A-Tasket
Boone, Riggs, Cuthrell • Three Auctioneers (with "Dup" with blank reverse side) Mr. Sidney Raynor ("Dup")
Fred Allen - "Speed" Riggs • Town Hall Interview (Side 1 & 2)

Image 2 is representative of the 78 and 33 rpm disks, respectively, and the final image is the "blank reverse side."

The three 33-1/3 rpm Music Makers records can be seen in Image 9 and were created for broadcasts in 1983. The 78s are in various degrees of use with the usual ticks and static expected for this vintage of platter, but all play and can be heard well.
The album is in pretty good condition, binding intact, with some edge wear on the spine, but otherwise solid and clean.
All records are in individual paper sleeves.
