Description
Mode LP 115 Black label with red ring around the edge, deep groove. Sings 12 tunes, mostly standards accompanied by Marty Paich, piano; Dick Noel, trombone; Bob Hardaway, tenor sax; Tony Rizzi, guitar; Buddy Clark, bass; Mel Lewis, drums. A magnificent vocal/jazz performance. Very rare. Cover: VG+ to Mint(-) 1/2" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. Also bottom corner has a small split and a tiny bit of discoloration. Fine gloss finished front cover. The small damage indicated is probably from shelf wear as the jacket and record show no handling No aging. Fine condition. Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There is a small surface rub mark at the end of track 6, Side B. Except for an occasional click or small interval of groove noise, there is no surface noise. The record was probably played only 1 or 2 times if at all. I feel that the slight noise described is most like in the pressing. Definitely not from wear. I would consider the record has having no surface noise, never-the-less I have included a VG++ in the overall rating. Audibly checked.
