Description
Luther Georgia Boy Snake Johnson-Muddy Waters Blues Band, Douglas SD 781 (1968). Shrink wrap and drill hole. I purchased this album new in the early/mid 1970's, lightly played. I have recently cleaned it and tested all tracks on both sides, plays great. Still covered with the original cellophane wrapping, there is a drill hole on the lower right side. There is minor shelf wear on the corners. There are no markings on the cover or original inner sleeve (the sleeve is split on the bottom edge (about 3"). My name is written in ink on the side 1 label (covered in the photos for listing purposes).
The LP is in a new anti-static round bottom clear sleeve placed on the outside of the album cover in a clear 3 Mil outer sleeve with a cardboard stiffener (200 lb. corrugation) and packaged in a 12" LP shipping mailer (made from 200 lb. test corrugated cardboard with 32 lb. ECT (edge crush test).
I was very fortunate to greet and shake hands with Muddy Waters while attending his live performance at the Euphoria Nightclub, May 1978 in Portland Oregon
