Description
here is the original Lynard Skynard Street Survivors album that was released 3 days before the infamous plane crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant and others. Due to this the album was pulled off shelves and the album cover was changed.
It was released Oct, 17th 1977 and we all know what Followed. The timing of the accident made this one of the most famous albums Skynard put out.
The album comes with everything including the two inserts. One has the credits, and songs on one side, with Skynards tour schedule on the other. There is another insert in this album. One side is Lynard Skynard wants to know. With a questionare to send to the fan club with questions such as. Have you been to a concert? would you like to? what Skynard albums, tapes do you have? whats your fasvorite radio station? whats your favorite TV show? and more. The other side of this insert has a form to purchase the Skynard survival kit.
The cover is in excellent condition, the back of it shows very very small album wear can hardly see the circle, the front is excellent sharp corners crisp color. The inner sleeve is also in excellent condition. The inserts are NM but the survival kit does have a few smudges on it. The Vinyl itself is in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is still very glossy and I looked it over good and could only find one very small very light scratch. It almost looks new.
What an album for the Skynard fan or anyone who wants a hard to find album to add to their collection. Good l,uck and have fun.
