In this auction:
· SPECIAL ADVANCE PREVIEW FROM LYNYRD SKYNYRD’S “LIVE” ALBUM One More From The Road” by Lynyrd Skynyrd
· This is a 12-Inch Extended Play (EP) Record with 2 songs on one side and 1 song on the other side.
· It is MCA 1946, and it is a STEREO pressing.
· This WHITE LABEL PROMO RECORD was released in 1976.
· As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS were issued in very limited quantities and only made available to the DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play. They were NOT made available to the general public. This makes them desirable to collectors because of their rarity.
· Side 1 has 2 tracks: “Gimme Three Steps” and “T For Texas”
· Side 2 has 1 track: “Free Bird”.
· This PROMO 12-INCH EP RECORD was issued as a “SPECIAL ADVANCE PREVIEW” to promote Lynyrd Skynyrd’s then forthcoming LIVE LP, “One More From The Road”.
· The primarily WHITE PROMO COVER is in STRONG VG CONDITION. It is still quite white but has some light aging/foxing. There is some light wear on the black letters on the front cover. There is a small “ding” with a small bit of paper loss at the bottom center of the front cover. There are NO seam splits, NO writing and NO ring wear on the cover.
· The VINYL is NEAR MINT, and the PROMO LABELS are CLEAN and WHITE.
For sure, a GREAT UNCOMMON PROMO RECORD for Collectors of Promo Vinyl or Lynyrd Skynyrd Vinyl!
