Description
The record that introduced Lynyrd Skynyrd to the world — an original 1973 U.S. pressing with the vinyl surviving in exceptional Near Mint condition.
This is an early MCA-363 Gloversville pressing of (Pronounced ’Lĕh-’nérd ’Skin-’nérd), featuring the original yellow Sounds of the South / MCA Records labels and gatefold jacket.
Produced by Al Kooper, Skynyrd’s 1973 debut delivered an absurdly strong opening statement: “Tuesday’s Gone,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Simple Man” and, of course, the original studio recording of “Free Bird.”
