Lynyrd Skynyrd: Second Helping, LP, MCA Records 1977, Reissue, Gloversville Pressing, MCA-3020 on cover and label, MCA 438W6 and some symbols etched in runout
Album is flat and plays well. The 1st play through there was 1 quick skip on Sweet Home Alabama but I cleaned it again and replayed it and it played without skipping. It has a few light scratches on each side but they can’t be felt and don’t cause any skips or excess noise. Cover is in pretty good shape. It has a little ring wear and a moderate amount of edge wear (especially on the spine). But all sides are intact. Other than yellowing from age, the inner sleeve is perfect.
We’re selling our collection of LPs that we’ve bought over the years. They hadn’t been played for over 20 years so we cleaned and listened to each one to be sure there are no skips when playing on our turntable, an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. I didn’t make notes on each one as I listened to it as far as any clicks, pops, etc. but I got rid of several that had too much noise or any skips. If you want me to go back and play an album and let you know of any surface noise, clicks, etc., please contact me and I will give you a full rundown prior to purchase.
