Description
This is the last album recorded by the original band members and the initial cover shot that was used in the earliest pressings. By request of family members, this cover design was discontinued and replaced by one without the flames.
Prior to listing, both sides were cleaned and tested to determine condition. I am not an expert at grading and while I do do my best to assign an objective and accurate rating, please take a minute review the photos and use your own judgement regarding condition.
Visually each side has some minor surface wear, paper scuffs and very light scratches that do not impact overall sound quality. Both sides played clean and there are no skips. Overall I grade the sound quality of this as VG+. The Matrix/Runout detail is: Side 1 MCA-1366 CR-7 F7 Mastered by Capitol; Side 2 MCA 1367 CR-7 F7.
The album cover, front and back and gate fold, has also held up very well over its 48 year existence. There is ring wear on each side and gate fold, bruised corners and edges, a spot on front where a sticker was removed, and writing by former owner. There are no seam splits and the spine is solid and I rate the cover quality as VG+.
The original inner sleeve has not survived and has been replaced by a new acid free one.The photos are of the items you will receive. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return for a full refund.
