Description
Lynyrd Skynyrd 1st album autographed by basketball coach and band namesake Leonard Skinner and roadie/security guard/crash-survivor Gene Odom. Gene was a survivor of the plane crash that took band members Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines and Ronnie Van Zant as well as others in 1977. I had a couple items, this LP included, signed when Mr. Odom was on a book tour several years ago.
The gatefold cover is in good shape but does have some ring-wear on the back but has been well taken care of through the years. The corners are pretty good with one small fold in the upper right of the front cover (see picture). The record is also in very good shape but does have a little surface noise. Includes original dated MCA sleeve. The inner sleeve has some slight discoloration on one corner but I was unable to make it appear in my photos.
