Description
Very rare discontinued original cover to a famous album. I believe they call this cover the "flames cover." Unusual history as to this pressing. To the best of my understanding, the only two members of the band that have flames above their heads are the two band members who tragically died in a plane crash shortly after the cover photo was taken. Sadly ironic. This iconic rock album cover is now considered an extremely collectible item for both Lynyrd Skynyrd fans and other rare album cover collectors. This cover was immediately pulled and modified after the deaths and has become a much sought after pressing.
I am not a record dealer. All my albums are from my personal collection. I have been collecting record albums as a hobby since the
mid-sixties.
