Lyres How Do You Know /  Don't Give It Up Now Boston punk garage


1st US release from seminal Boston punk group The Lyres 7" from 1979 on Sounds Interesting label SI 145-002. Both songs are fun punk / power pop. Produced by Oedipus and Monomann. Executive Producer Charles P. Lamey (who once wrote an excellent article on NRBQ for RPM magazine) Very much in the tradition of other great early Boston punk garage bands like the Standells.

Condition sleeve: VG+ This is a B&W paper sleeve with some bends around the edges of the record. No rips or tears.

Condition record: Visually, I'd grade this VG. There are some light marks that don't affect play. Both sides play great! A very fun and danceable record! If you like the sound of a Farfisa organ (or possibly A Vox Continental?), you'll enjoy this.
