Description

Lyrita SRCS 75, Finzi, Intimations of Immortality, Ian Partridge, Guildford Philharmonic Choir & Orchestra, Vernon Handley (1975) – Lyrita Records stereo SRCS 75, blue label disc pressed in England. This analogue recording has been highly praised for its natural and musical sound. It was featured in HP's TAS Super Disk List for many years, and HP was right (as he usually was) - the sound is wonderfully natural. This copy is virtually perfect – I purchased it myself, many years ago and have played it only twice since then. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is dead quiet, with NO marks whatsoever. The vinyl looks and plays mint (M). The labels also look new as does the jacket and insert (see photos). In summary, this is a MINT copy of this wonderfully natural analogue recording.
