Here is a RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Sam Phillips and his Memphis based Sun Record Co. in 1961 released this compilation album "Sun's Gold Hits Vol 1" LP-1250 (MONO), this is a first pressing with the heavy 1950's style "Microgroove" vinyl, looks rarely played and handled, MEGA RARE in this condition! Album features Sun's historic artists Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Bill Justis and more, GREAT album! Song titles "Whole lotta shakin' going on", Johnny Cash classic "I walk the line", Carl Perkins' Blue suede shoes, Bill Justis plays "Raunchy", The killer with "Breathless", Charlie Rich with Lonely weekend, Jerry Lee sings Hank William's "You win again" and MORE!
The vinyl rates solid NEAR MINT, is super clean and glossy, pristine looking disc, looks rarely played and very well cared for! This record has been play tested and plays great from start to finish with excellent audio quality!
The cover rates NEAR MINT, is clean and bright with gloss, almost no age discoloration, no ring wear, all edges and corners excellent, no splits, no tape, one small linear indent at right of Bill Justis photo (barely noticeable), no signatures or writing, looks rarely handled, a well cared for 56 year old cover!
Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
