Here is a SUPERB & beautiful rare vintage classic jazz album offered up for sale: A 1966 original Mono white label promotional pressing of John Coltrane " KULU SE' MAMA" in well cared for condition, looks rarely played! The last album released during his lifetime. Features Coltrane with McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Jimmy Garrison, Pharoah Sanders, Donald Garrett, Frank Butler and Juno Lewis. Released 1966 on Impulse records A-9106 MONAURAL. This heavy weight record grades NEAR MINT, is beautiful, super clean and glossy, looks pristine & rarely played, Record has been PLAY TESTED, plays OUTSTANDING from start to finish with excellent clear and quiet sound quality, a VERY enjoyable listening Lp!! Nothing but golden silence when you set the needle down!! The white dj MONO labels are in EX condition, are clean, no signatures, no visible spindle wear! The matrix stamped on side one reads A 9106 A LW and Van Gelder and side two reads A 9106 B LW and Van Gelder. The early 1st press cover rates EX, is clean, still glossy, has deep color, no stains, no signatures or writing, tiny 1/2" split at center of binder (unnoticeable), binder printed edge is EX and readable (see photos). All edges solid, there is wear at all four corners, 2" split at center inside gatefold, tiny spots on back. (see pics) Includes the original vintage Impulse inner sleeve!
