Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 first pressing - much desired in the last few years, spare copies hardly ever turn up getting lots of interest when they do... This is "heady" psychedelic rock at best, overloaded with dirty-distortion & exotic guitar navigators 'A=MH2' is a true psychedelic, late-1960's Indian/Raga/psych/prog marathon that finds an almost perfect balance between the east and the west, the raga and the rock, and the calm and the crazed. Combining multi-instrumentalist Andy Clark and guitar-virtuoso Mick Hutchinson, the aptly-named 'Clark / Hutchinson' met sometime during the 1960's when both musicians could be found in the underground group
Sam Gopal Dream. From the sound of their music it seems likely that the twosome might have been fond of the odd herbal-or-psychotropic tipple, and after the vanishing of "Sam Gopal Dream," the duo decided to pair-up and explore the sounds of electric-psych rock India and beyond exotic sounds with a western 'rock' dynamic.
Wonderful experimentation in adventures were the creative watchword at the tail end of the sixties/beginning of the 1970's. Clark Hutchinson may have had lofty ambitions and seriously left-field practices, but they also had immense talent and, dare we say it, foresight into the natural progressive arc of rock music(!). Along with 'Jade Warrior,' who produced three excellent eastern-tinged prog/psych/rock albums around the same time.
Clark Hutchinson were part of a small niche of artists who avoided the bluesy overtly-progressive styles in favor of casting their sonic nets to lands farther afield. 'A+MH2' is possibly the apex of the genre because it positively drips with an earthy authenticity that truly places this album as lovingly-crafted effort of sitar-like stinging fuzzed-guitar and-tabla drenched Eastern music.
It's also a damn good LP. It's easy to see where underground groups such as San Francisco's mind-melting acid bands got their epic, "grooved" and deeply trippy soundscapes from, and from start-to-finish this A=MH2 whole album reverberates with cosmic bliss for those in enjoyment with the psychedelic side of psych/rock. Without a doubt, one of the most tripped-out albums from the most way-out period of the golden age.
