WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS: If you have a question on orders received, please contact us. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. When leaving Feedback, please consider the following: eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5 reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities. SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS: We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping. Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.
As always, thank you for your support!

Rare BRITISH first 1971 pressing...only released in England...
This is one of the pivotal progressive bands that emerged in the second part of the Sixties. However the progressive world was more impressed by The Nice and King Crimson, so in Colosseum is a bit understimated progrock band. In '68 the founding members were drummer Jon Hiseman, winds player Dick Heckstall-Smith and bass player Tony Reeves, later joined by Dave Greenslade (keyboards), Dave Clempson(ex-Bakerloo on guitar), Chris Farlowe (vocals) and Mark Clark, he replaced Tony Reeves. Colosseum made three studio albums: "Those Who Are To Die We Salute You" and "Valentyne Suite" (both from '69) and "Daughter Of Time" ('70). The music is a progressive mix of several styles (rock, jazz, blues) with lots of sensational solos and captivating interplay. In '71 the band released their highly acclaimed live album "Colosseum live", a proof of their great skills on stage.
The 1971 COLLECTORS COLOSSEUM is a great impression of Colosseum their varied sound: catchy and swinging with strong vocals, raw guitarwork, lots of saxophone and floods of Hammond organ in Walking In The Park and Those About To Die, bluesy in Theme For An Imaginary Western and Bolero, flute in Beware the Ides Of March and vibraphone in Rope Ladder To The Moon. The album is filled with fluent rhythms delivering strong work on organ, ripping guitar and winds, as well as wonderful mellow parts that dramatically rise up with grand piano and wailing sax interplayed often with powerful bass runs. The Colossseum sound always features swinging rhythms with swirling Hammond organ, jazzy reeds and a propulsive percussion section, very exiciting and the interplay between the musicians is outstanding! Dave Greenslade delivers much Hammond organ with a kind of wah-wah sound that is nothing short of spectacular. Very dynamic atmospheres abound throughout finds Colosseum "Collectors" at their best!
