NOTE: eBay has implemented its new FEEDBACK policy to which ANY customer for ANY reason or ANY excuse can give sellers (i.e. "us") negative feedback. Please understand, we have served thousands of "satisfied" customers and processed thousands of orders - far more than our feedback records indicate - It is our intention to give EACH and EVERY buyer our best possible service and we are known to ALWAYS deliver your purchased item. ALL items paid for are processsed 'outbound'  to each and EVERY customer, satisfaction guaranteed.  Keep in mind we have serviced THOUSANDS of satisfied customers and our aim is to continue to do so.

We make every effort to mail all orders out Friday of each week.  Keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two at most.   We also strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERSWe often get requests to hold orders to save on shipping.  We are happy to do thatPlease pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and IF YOU REQUEST we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.   To receive continual shipping discounts, we will hold your orders as long as you want, but it is necessary to pay each invoice you receive to stay current.   Most importantly, we appreciate your business.

RARE 1973 MINTY CLEAN ORIGINAL w/ POSTER Lyrics

         WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL

                    NEIL YOUNG

       TIME FADES AWAY

...USA - REPRISE RECORDS - WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL - MS 2151

RARE...ORIGINAL 1973 advance release WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL ...highly in demand by collectors as has never been reissued and there are no plans for ever being reissued even on compact disc.

INCLUDES the huge over sized lyrics POSTER....

The white label limited issue was the first to be cut off the freshly pressed masters, retaining the best possible sound quality to this album (US record companies had a habbit of pressing stock copies until the masters nearly wore out resulting in thin inferior sound) ...

The 1973 release Time Fades Away consisted of previously unreleased material. It was recorded with The Stray Gators on one of the tours supporting 1972's highly successful Harvest LP and has not been reissued on CD due to Young's dissatisfaction with that particular series of concerts -- even though Time Fades Away received much praise from both music crirics and fans alike...

Locked in the vaults for years to never be heard again unless you can track down an original vinyl... This is all about Neil Young wanting to keep up the mystique of his early 70's years and what ultimately is his most personal offering... he doesn't like to normally or anytime go this deep and let people enter so he canned the album.

Time Fades Away is an album of personal lament. Both electrically charged and sometimes softly genuine. 'Love In Mind' and 'Don't Be Denied' both reflect the softer piano driven side of Neil, but at it's best. 'Journey Through The Past' is an offering almost identical to 'After The Gold Rush' and nearly as good. 'Bridge' is among the most lyrically powerful tracks this side of Bob Dylan's Blonde On Blonde.

The Jangly title track equals Neils personal demon with drugs/Alcohol of the time. The story telling of the song is unparalleled by any other in his canon. 'Yonder Stands The Sinner' feels like a personal account. While some feel =was the weakest song on the album  might have the most powerful theme over all. 'L.A.' is here then it is gone. Much like time in the great city. But it is really 'Last Dance' the closing track on this brilliant live album of the (then) new material that steals the show. The nine minute epic is along the lines of 'Cowgirl In The Sand' in that it is a powerfully emotionally charged guitar jam with a verse chorus verse chorus style. A song about hating your job no matter how good it is at times. Just like how Neil has always felt about being a famous, and not to mention brilliant musician.

Time Fades Away is a lost, real underrated classic which everyone should give at least one good listening

    "Fourteen junkies
    too weak to work
    One sells diamonds
    for what they're worth
    Down on pain street,
    disappointment lurks
Son, don't be home too late.
Try to get back by eight
    Son, don't wait
    till the break of day
    'Cause you know
    how time fades away.
    Time fades away
You know how time fades away."
