Absolutely beautiful copy of this incredibly rare classic that has been on compilations like "Boom Chicka Boom - The Ultimate Collection Of Johnny Cash Soundalikes".

So what do we know about Tom? Very little can be confirmed. This is NOT on the well-known "Crest Records", also out of California - that one was in Hollywood. Only known releases seem to be Tom Edwards "Cook County Jail" (CTP 301) and Wes Dick Country Four "My One Dream" (TP-CR-302) 45s. So was Tom from California? We can't find any evidence placing him there. 

Was he from Chicago, home of the best-known "Cook County"? We can't find any proof of that, either. We did find a Country Four from the Detroit era that is a certain possibility. But for now, Tom remains a mystery. 

Only TWO copies have ever come up online for sale, as far as we can see, and we researched this one heavily!
