Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

What distinguishes an Original master Recording LP from any other record ?
1. Original Master Recordings are exclusively transferred from the original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio (not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master tape).
2. Each Original Master Recording employs exclusive half-speed mastering process, thus capturing every nuance of sound from the master tape.
3. Quality, not quantity, is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original Master Recording. The number of pressings is strictly controlled. These limited editions assure you that the quality of the last pressing matches the quality of the first.
4. Original Master recordings are custom pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). Super Vinyl, an exclusive compound far superior to even so-called 100% virgin vinyl, is utilized to achieve maximum clarity and startling quietness.... Super Vinyl also bestows unsurpassed durability to each Original Master Recording LP, achieving a "playing lifespan" at least five times longer than mass- produced records.
5. Each Original Master Recording is ultra-packaged to maintain flatness and prevent warping.
- In March and June of 1971, the Allman Brother Band performed at the fabled Fillmore East auditorium in New York City, and recorded the concerts. The announcer's, "Okay, The Allman Brothers Band..." followed by three hi-hat claps introduce the Allman Brother's masterpiece, perhaps the most coherent and perfectly integrated rock/blues performance on record.
From the opening bars of "Statesboro Blues", the Allman Brothers explode: The Fillmore Concerts is an electric blues/rock exhibition. The forever classic includes Texas Blues ("Stormy Monday"), Chicago Blues ("Trouble No More"), and Mississippi Delta Blues ("Done Somebody Wrong"). In addition to cover material, the Allmans include the originals "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" and their definitive hard riveting statement, "Whipping Post". These songs are propelled by a dual lead guitar and drums format and the fat sound of a Hammond B3 organ. The effect is a "Wall of Sound." It is a sound that is immediately identifiable with the Allman Brothers Band.
Highlights are everywhere, including "Statesboro Blues" and "One Way Out" having Duane Allman's dense and precise slide guitar pitted against Richard Betts' round lead guitar, with "One Way Out" providing Betts with his finest recorded guitar solo. "Stormy Monday" juxtaposes Allman and Bett's distinct lead styles in an orgy of perfect blues phrasing. Gregg Allman's jazzy organ interlude is an added delight. The frenzied build-up of the side long version of "Whipping Post" fuels so much emotion you can't help but get sucked into the vortex of energy ...
