Potentially unplayed (found 3 together) copy of this bizarre and wonderful 45 from famed Elvis Impersonator Rick Saucedo. One side is a Hard Rock Elvis take, the other a strange Minimal Synth surf track.
Rick, from the Chicago area, was one of the best-known Elvis Impersonators, which you can hear on the A-Side of this record (a sort of Hard Rock take on "Too Much"). The flip though...a very strange minimal synth take on "Dead Mans Curve" that doesn't even get to the vocals until a good way in. Even Orion went new wave at one point, so it's probably not too surprising, though we think this is better and even more left-field.
Rick's first studio album is a VERY expensive Private/loner folk/psych record, so he's done excellent non-Elvis Impersonator work outside this record, as well.
