   For sale is M's New York London Paris Munich, originally released in 1979 by Sire Records as a promotional copy with a decal on the front cover. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track are the matrix numbers A-1/B-1 followed by an etched "Bilbo London" and "Bilbo Ta1pe London, indicating that this was mastered by Dennis Blackman (Bilbo) at Tape One Studios, London and a first stamper was used to make this first edition. These hallmarks denote state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it in a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Excellent with some small tears at its top opening. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. The cover is graded as VG because of ring wear, corner blunts and two small tear along the bottom seam, which has resulted in a little paper loss. The spine has a tear also, with color loss from corner blunts. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This is still one of the best versions of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard pressed to find a promotional Bilbo pressing like this one ever again!
