Rare and sought 1966 "clean" ORIGINAL vinyl ...top sought tremelo/reverb guitar structured self penned tunes by this Phoenix Arizona crew... Hard to put 'em right, garage, psychedelic touches, folk rock, acid moments.   

This outfit was based in Phoenix, Arizona between 1966-68 and were earlier known as The Mile Ends. Their first 45 contains the fine psychedelic punk of The Other Sidewalk, and the flip features sitars and has a mellow trippy feel, with the vocalist wishing that he'd never come down...the band then hooked up with MAINSTREAM RECORDS and released this album... The first two tracks are interesting with People In The Street having a vaguely psychedelic feel while Crazy Town (Move On Little Children) is the nearest this gets to flower power. The album's most overtly psychedelic song The Other Sidewalk, while the closing What's The Hurry? is a pretty decent groove...but there's more....

 Superfine Dandelion drew from a lot of fine inspirations on their sole album: Jefferson Airplane, The Charlatans and Buffalo Springfield foremost among them. It seems as though they did their share of listening to the early Jefferson Airplane, judging from the extremely Airplane-like vocal interplay and minor chord structure of "People in the Street" and "Crazy Town." "My Place," on the other hand, has something of the guitar led ruralrock-flavored buoyancy of Buffalo Springfield, while the cheeriest cuts have the sunny folk-pop/rock feel of, say, L.A. folk-rock ala the first Grassroots album ("Don't Try to Call Me" recalls that cool first Grassroots "Where Were You When I Needed You" album)  Then "Janie's Tomb" and "It's Raining" sound like San Franciscos forerunners to the hippie sensation ala the Charlatans. These are lot of references to cram into one album which gves the album a varied edge...all the tracks are twangy guitar structures. Long time sought and on the in demand "Mainstream Records" label, who ssued several fine garage albums in the late sixties...this being one of them. We don't run across this anymore, it is completely dried up from Coast to Coast...
