PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE and sought ... 1970 first pressing on the obscure Los Angeles "Forward" label. Essentially the LAST "West Coast Pop Art Experiemental Band" LP ... Final release featuring Bob Markley, Danny Harris, and [a finally credited] Michael Lloyd who were the core members of The West Coast Pop Art Exerimental Band. This time Shaun Harris played a minor role, he sang on Outside/Inside only.
Although the title may suggest, this was NOT a solo effort of Bob Markley; all songs were sung and played by Michael, Danny and Shaun. was actually the 5th and final album by West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band. Singer/womaniser Bob markley thought it better to release it under his own name, as a showcase for his various dementia's. The album is chocked full of rich harmonies and delicate arrangements which show the abundant influence of Michael Lloyd, who co-produced the album with (mad) Bob . A surprisingly consistent and accomplished album for a band about to collapse under the collective weight of it's own insanity.'Markley, A Group' was effectively the fifth Pop Art album; the personnel was the same and indeed, the music too was an extension of 'Where's My Daddy'. Once again it lacked the heady atmosphere of say "Smell Of Incense", but it was by no means indispensable.
'A Group' did, however, mark the end of the collaboration between Markley and the two Harris brothers.... and they each went their separate ways.
