Tirupathi is easily one of the n10st renowned pilgrim centres in India and among the fumorous hymins extolling the Lord of
Tirupathi, Sri Venkatesa Suprabhatam easily one of the highest renown. Suprabhatam Tiferally is an invocation sung at dawn to wakeshe Lord up.
Sri Venkatesa Suprabhatani, a hymn 81 29 stanzas opens with a sloka from, Valiki Kinsyana, the stoka with which Sage Visvamitra awakes SriSRama. Then the hymncevokes pictures of the chirping of birds humming or bees, churing-of curd - all sounds in fact passing for the morning prayers unto the Lord.
All the Devas, And all ind Saints und yages have assembled in holy congregation for serving the Presiding Deidof Tirupathi and hence the fervent prayer fot waking him up
Then follows Sri Venkatesa Stotra comprising I1 slokas of bewitching rhythmic undulation.
Then follow? Sri Konkatera, Prapsit, noted for is rich
imagery. Its sixteen(stanzas are an outpouring of the Bhakta's dedication to the feet orthe Lord)
The hymns are rounded off to a fitting finale with Manga sasanam--or benedictory hymn of 14 stanzas.
-in the traditional style in which they are recited everyday in the sanctum sanctorum of the Temple at Tirupathi.
