M SQUARED - 'A Selection' (YPRX 1891) (EMI pressed)
M Squared compilation album.
The comp features: The Makers of The Dead Travel Fast/ Pel Mel/ Slugfuckers/ Severed Heads. Wild West/ Systematics/ Scattered Order/ The Limp, etc
There is no original cover. Instead it comes with the M Squared 'Growing Pains' album cover. The test pressing record comes with promotional material from M Squared records, including a letter to David, who worked at 4 ZZZ FM radio station in Brisbane. Also included is the foldout insert for the 'A Selection' album comp.
The promotional material has handling wear and some foxing marks, marks, creases, and some with small tears. See photos.
The A side of the label has 4ZZZ and the date of 10/81. Probably the date that 4ZZZ received the test pressing?
The B side has the bands and song titles listed in pen. There is a finger prints? on the B side label.
The black vinyl looks VG+ at least. Lots of very light small surface scratches, some longer ones. The odd very light scuff. Small scratches on the raised edge.
A rare piece.
