PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. SCARCE 1973 "QUADRAPHONIC" with different song mixes from the 'regular' 1973 issue...
The Quadraphonic issue uses a then, specially designed SQ decoder permiting the a 4 channel sound separation (as opposed to the regular 2 channel) when playback is through the quad system or even surround sound receiver, resulting in completely different song mixes that can be detected even on the 'normal' stereo system. The record company changed around the song mixes (sounding like things were added) to enhance the quadraphonic 4-channel listening experience....
The 4-channel song mixes are complely different from the standard stereo issue and in some cases the classic DOORS tracks sound as a breath of fresh air with the separated mixings, like a new listening experience to the tracks you know and love ... Some of the versions are, in some cases so radically different, they were lifted and issued as part of a rare DOORS pirate cd "TV BLEEDING" which is one of the strong & recommended releases of that genre, if you can find it...but, here, the vinyl original from 1973 delivers the goods and DOORS fans should enjoy and appreciate the telling of these 4-channel song mixes...
