THIS RARE 78rpm BLUES RECORD BY "MA" RAINEY AND HER GEORGIAN BAND WAS ORIGINALLY RECORDED IN 1925 ON PARAMOUNT # 12238 AND THIS RE-ISSUE WAS RELEASED IN THE 1940'S ON THE U.S. UHCA LABEL. SONGS ARE: COUNTIN' THE BLUES & JELLY BEAN BLUES (Ma Rainey and Lena Arant). THIS RECORD LOOKS TO BE IN NEW UNPLAYED CONDITION WITH GLOSS AND LUSTER AS YOU WOULD SEE ON A NEW ONE. IT PLAYS WITH QUALITY SOUND FOR A VINTAGE OF THIS AGE AND GRADES AS A NEAR MINT ALL THE WAY THROUGH. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B & Jazz 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
