This is the first of several ultra rare examples that I an selling on eBay. Do not expect (with respect) to acquire these discs cheaply - records of this rarity and value deserve better!!!!

Collectors can send me their wants lists if they wish me to offer them these discs prior to eBay listing.

Please note: All records will be supplied with a replacement sleeve following cleaning (see below). This is a description of the sleeve that came with the record originally (although it may not be the actual original sleeve). You will therefore, end up with two sleeves, the original and the replacement.

Minimal / negligeable signs of spindle markings. Label in super condition.

I am sure most collectors recognise the hierarchy of grading that seems to be used pretty universally. To be clear, I use the following with adjustments + or – accordingly.

Record has not been played. Shows no signs of use at all. Outstanding condition of both record, sleeve and cover.

Slightest signs of wear to cover, sleeve and no marks to disc. No clicks or pops.

Slightly more wear signs overall. Cover will be excellent, label will have minimal spindal markings. May have non sounding markings. Still an excellent disc with nothing detrimental to performance listenability.  

More signs of wear than "excellent" such as fading to cover front an back and / or inner sleeve. Non sounding marks and may have one or two ticks, clicks or pops which I will be detailed.

Will not appear on eBay listings

Please note. I do NOT use a single overall descriptor for the record as this can be misleading. I prefer to describe each element individually. If there is greater surface noise than I consider should occur on an LP of 40 / 50 years old I will detail it. 

Records are graded on a Linn Sondek with Ekos Arm and Troika MC cartridge.

A little note about pictures:

Rather than pay ebay to list pictures of labels and covers I have decided to simply scan items. 

Most collectors know what a Decca SXL Wide Band First Edition / Groove label looks like for example.

You can get a clear idea of the label and cover through this method. however if you REALLY DO need extra pictures let me know and I'll take them and mail them to you - no problem.
