Textured box cover is super clean with no wear, soil, creases or marks. One very minor bump to top edge of box lid. Hinge and corners completely intact; no breaks or splits. Metallic gold hinge titles are sharp, crisp, Like New.

This is the original private issue by those who recorded it in 1952.
Circumstances and later health issues kept Maria Callas from ever truly reprising her stirring performance of Lady Macbeth ...a role that she was born to play; if ever there was a perfect fit for an opera singer it was Callas as The Lady. This was recorded Sunday, December 7, 1952.
