MACKIE & TOM BROOKS "SONGS BY MACKIE & TOM" Vance Recording Studios, circa 1950's
The Dick Vance Recording Studio was based in Oakland, California, circa 1950's-60s. No information found on this record. It was obviously a husband/wife home recording type collaboration. They probably rented an orchestra at Vance Recording Studios for this album. Most likely this was a limited pressing or perhaps this is the only surviving copy?
Vinyl in VG condition, has maintained some luster shine. Some visible and audible surface scuff and light scratches. 2.5" scratch stretches through 6 tracks on Side A. Dynamic vinyl sound helps keep scuff and scratches in background.
LP cover in VG+ condition, no seam splits. All seams intact, with exception of occasional light wear. Small bend and slight dent near top right cover corner. Hand drawn decorated cover by original owner.
