Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Wild (!) Mad and Punk (!). Only 500 records of this legendary New York City punk classic from 1979 were pressed. eBay prices: $822 + $677 + $678 (US). As you know lots of extremely good US punk records exist but in my humble opinion this is one of the TOP FIVE SINGLES FROM THE USA. Both tracks are p-e-r-f-e-c-t from start to finish....and full of sikkkk energy. You are bidding on the first and best 7” release by MAD. Believe me the song ‘I Hate Music, I Love Noise’ is like a kick in the balls and a punch in the stomach. The other track ‘Eyeball’ is like a drug which creeps under your skin and totally kills your heart and brain; absolutely amazing!! Produced by Danny Zelonky who also produced the great MISFITS single ‘Night Of The Living Dead’. The beautiful picture sleeve was done by band leader Screaming Mad George. His voice kicks ass!! Well, England belongs to me and I grow up with British punk music but these songs are playing in a totally different league as the CLASH, the DAMNED and the BUZZCOCKS. Here’s your chance to get the original first pressing, released on their own private mini label ‘Disgusting’ records in 1979. Complete with lyric sheet. Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
