Description
This is a fine copy from an early (1979) U.S. repressing of the debut LP by British ska revival group Madness, originally released earlier that year. The group was hugely popular in the U.K.: the LP itself along with two singles and an EP drawing on it all went into the top ten there. Their sound and sensibility were a bit too British for American audiences at the time, though, and the 1982 single "Our House" excepted, they never really caught on Stateside. The jacket has some minor flaws: light ring wear and staining; light corner, spine, seam, and edge wear; and light creasing along the spine (EX-). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
