Description

Up for auction today is the incredibly rare Promo Only 12" Picture Disc of MADONNA's 1987 Remix Album You Can Dance.   This beautiful picture disc edition of the album contains the "Single Edits" of the full-length album remixes, making it that much more exciting.  These remixes were NEVER commerically available for sale.  They are found only on the promotional records and compact discs that Sire Records produced for the album. The catlog number for this record is PRO-MAD-1 

This gorgeous and absolutely stunning picture disc is 100% official and was made in the U.K. in 1987 and released only in Germany to celebrate and promote the release of You Can Dance.  This edition was an extremely limited pressing for promotional purposes only and was never available for sale anywhere in the world.  This makes it one of the rarest and most sought after Madonna picture discs, second only to the Erotica picture disc (and all of you Madonna collectors out there know how rare that one is.)

For being 20 years old, this disc is in Excellent Condition.  There is a faint hairline scuff mark about 3 inches long that runs horizontally across the bottom-center of the picture side.  It runs along the black colored section of the bottom of Madonna's dress.  I hesitate to call this a scratch, it is smooth to the touch and is not a deep gouge, it is very faint.  The white letters at the bottom of Madonna's picture is the Catalog Number for this record "PRO-MAD-1".  I purchased this record about 15 years ago from a Madonna collector and have kept it safely stored away ever since.  I have never played this record.  This mark does NOT in any way take away from the beauty of this record, however i am describing it so you know exactly what you are getting.  This is the only mark anywhere on the disc, everything else is MINT with beautiful vibrant colors.

I will only accept Paypal from International Bidders.  Shipping to Canada is $8.00.  Shipping anywhere else is $12.00.  Payment must be received within 5 days and be made in US funds.
