'Grit' is the third album by Norwegian Prog Rock band Madrugada. The band took once again a different approach to their previous release 'The Nightly Disease' (also on 180 gm vinyl) featuring a much rawer and at times more experimental sound with Krautrock and Garage Rock influences taking turns. 'Grit' starts off with a considerable swagger on two grimy Rock numbers: 'Blood Shot Adult Commitment' and leadoff single 'Ready'. Augmented by traditional Americana-tinged minor key ballads that Madrugada are famous for, this is their most varied of their studio albums thus far. Also available on 180 gm vinyl: THE NIGHTLY DISEASE
