Magdalena Bay, the LA-based duo blending hyperpop with its more regular type, are back with their sophomore album Imaginal Disk. Following their single 'Death & Romance,' the duo has now released 'Image,' a track that features shuffling hi-hats, alien-like bleeps and bloops, and Mica Tenenbaum's slightly haunted vocals. The song's biting chorus is driven by bass slaps and snare smacks, offering a taste of the album's wild sonic palette and left-field tendencies.
