MAGGIE THRETT Soupy NORTHERN SOUL PROMO 45 7" Record Vinyl 1965 VERY RARE FUNK CONDITION OF THE VINYL: Tested both tracks in full and only noticed faint static mainly on softer sounding "B" side but nothing major at all and doesn't take away from the music. Both songs play nice and loud so if there is any static it's mostly drowned out by the music. Basic scuffing marks from storage and previous play with small blue sharpie date of '65 on label. Really fantastic "A" side "Soupy" and plays very well for a used 1965 record. I have no way to get audio sample but I'm positive any collector would be very happy with this one. If I noticed any issues with playback I'd mention it. No storage warp and no feelable marks on vinyl just very light static and no loud pops. (see pics)
Maggie Thrett was the actress who played Ruth Bonaventure in an early first season episode of Star Trek:The Original Series "Mudd's Women", 1966. Maggie is present in the Jeff Kreiter Vocal Group Record Guide under her birth name Diane Pine. DIANE PINE.
