Description

This auction is for an original Magic Carpet LP (Mushroom 200 MR 20) by UK Magic Carpet band released in 1972 on the Mushroom label.

The cover is in excellent condition especially considering age, with no creases and only slight signs of age. The inner paper sleeve has become 'tarnished' or foxed with age. Please see photos. The vinyl LP is mint unplayed.

Magic Carpet band created a unique sound at the time, blending European contemporary folk sounds of Alisha Sufit with the skilled sitar playing of Clem Alford, plus guitar by Jim Moyes and tabla by Keshav Sathe.
