Description
This is a shrink wrap sealed copy of the 1978 Special Commemorative Edition "The Magical Music of Walt Disney"--"an anthology of classic Disney Art and Music" marketed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of the first Mickey Mouse movie. The 4-disc vinyl lp collection is "written and produced" by Dick Schory and includes a 52-page color illustrated book about Disney Studios with reproductions of original sketches, drawings, paintings and film stills along with text by Schory. The music inside comes from 1928-42 Mickey Mouse cartoons, "3 Little Pigs", the groundbreaking 1937-42 features ("Snow White..." to "Bambi"), 1940's shorts, the now-often censored "Song of the South", 1950's features ("Cinderella" to "Sleeping Beauty"), "The Vanishing Prairie", 1960's-70's features ("101 Dalmations" to "The Rescuers"), "Mary Poppins", "Pete's Dragon", and theme park "Music of the Magic Kingdom". The only discernible damage is a 1" peel of the shrink wrap in the upper right corner that doesn't at all expose the items in the box but did lead to a half inch tear in the box lid's protective fabric on that corner.
