Near mint cover, tiny edge creases, very faint ring imprint. Small written date "1971" and tape removal residue lines inside cover pocket.A few micro lamination bubbles back cover at spine. Lp newish, looks clean, plays well, little or no noise.
MAGMA's second album of birth of "Zeuhl," thunderous ethno-space jam prog, here perhaps just a bit more fusion-y than their later work, but in the hands of MAGMA, doing side long tracks like "Riah Sahiltaahk," that can be a good thing. An early milestone of the French progressive scene, it shows Christian Vander's jazz influence more than the later stuff as well.
While this lp is not so much innately "rare" in the "limited edition of 300 copies" sense ( Philips was a big company, who put out a lot of copies for that time and place), it has gained acclaim and collectibility over the last 40 years with the rise of MAGMA's fame worldwide as originators of a truly unique, original, and powerful rock sound. It was not kept in print, and these original copies have become very desirable.
