Description
Avant Garde classic, German release at height of progressive era. Remniscent of modern Icelandic band Sigör Rös in that vocalist often is singing in invented language, combined with bits of English and German: the voice is truly another instrument it only serves to heighten the music's strange and haunting effect. This one comes from a deep, deep place in Psych/Art Rock history. It is uniformly considered their best, however, I am including, as a bonus incentive, their next album, an equally entrancing LP entitled "Köhntarkosz", because this should be enjoyed similarly, and "Mekanik" is rare and thus I am asking alot for it. Köhntarkosz is icing on the cake. As seen in pics, includes original 'lyric' insert, and even paper sleeve is original, with tiny A&M icon on it. This is the real deal, one of the best issues of a truly rare and beautiful record. With an additional record, similarly strange and beautiful. Both will be lovingly packed & shipped, and will of course be encased in quality clear record protective sleeves.
