Description
Hi, I am a private collector selling part of my collection.
I will use visual and audio gratings. I have been a collector for many years and know how disappointing it is to receive a record that has not been properly graded. I hope to be very accurate as regards the audio as well as giving details of any hairlines/scratches on the vinyl. I will use the Record Collector Grading System and supplement this with additional information. Every record is play tested on my Linn LP12. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with a purchase i offer a 'Returns Accepted' guarantee. (Buyer pays return postage). The record for sale is the first UK pressing of 'Seasons' by Magna Carta. The record was released in England in 1970.
The matrix numbers are Side one: 6360003 1Y // 1 111 Side two: 6360003 2Y // 3 420 113
This is the first UK pressing on the large Vertigo swirl label.
This cover is in superb condition. There is a small crease near the Vertigo swirl symbol (top right) on the front and a couple of near invisible creases running off the spine. Nothing really. The front of the cover is very clean. The back of the cover has a couple of tiny insignificant handling marks and the inside of the gatefold is near perfect bar some light rubbing. The spine is near perfect except for a small rub on the bottom of the spine shown in photo 6. Overall the cover grades NEAR MINT.
Visually the vinyl looks superb In strong light I can see a few insignificant hairline/ handling marks but no deep scratches. Visually the vinyl looks NEAR MINT Audiowise there is some light crackle and tick sounds, more noticeable on side A Side B sounds better but overall I would grade the audio as EXCELLENT. It may benefit from a deep clean.
The labels are clean and undamaged and there are a number of spindle marks on both labels
Comes complete with the original poly-lined Vertigo inner sleeve.
