Description
OXFAM MUSIC CLASSICAL AUCTIONS
Classic performance of Gustav Mahler's Symphony for Tenor, Contralto (or Baritone) and Orchestra, Das Lied Von Der Erde, performed by Christa Ludwig (Mezzo-Soprano) and Fritz Wunderlich (Tenor), accompanied by the New Philharmonia and the Philharmonia Orchestras, conducted by Otto Klemperer.
Contains booklet with introduction and texts.
Original 1967 stereo pressing, on first press gold white angel labels.
CONDITION:
SLEEVE - EXCELLENT+ - Sleeve near-pristine with only the faintest of opening creases and minimal discolouration to rear.
VINYL - EXCELLENT+ - Bright surfaces with little sign of play. One faint mark towards end of side two which does not affect play.
AUDIO NOTES - Sampled on both sides. Generally good sound quality with little to no underlying surface noise. Some distortion on opening orchestral passage which may be a function of the recording rather than the disc itself. Very occasional light ticks during play which rarely rise above the level of music, but with quiet surfaces during vocal passages.

All items will be securely dispatched in a new hard 12" mailer with stiffener, and will include a 12" polythene record sleeve. All items are handled with the greatest of care prior to dispatch.
